This Nantucket Style Cottage Has Never Looked Better.

When Shoreline Construction was hired, this little home was in need of some tender loving care. Nestled on the island in Lewes, DE just steps from the Delaware Bay, this property needed a house that deserved it’s panoramic coastal views and crisp ocean breezes.

Prior to construction, this 1960’s cottage was cinder block on the 1st floor and vinyl siding on the 2nd floor. The side porch was an original screened in porch that had to be removed and completely re-built. There is a new rear entrance for the beautiful view of the bay. The home was finished in our signature Nantucket style with a Cedar Shake roof and siding as well as beautiful copper gutters.

Traditional boxed beams and the new custom mantle with built in wall television make for a much more comfortable living room.

The completely redesigned rear entrance includes an outdoor shower, Chippendale railing, and an Andersen oval window.

Beautiful marble showers as well as new bathroom tile and lighting make rinsing off after the beach a classy experience.

Exterior Deck & Siding

The full length second story Ipe decking and all new French doors make outdoor entertaining a dream come true.

Reading Room

Raising the roof pitch and all new Andersen windows made this reading room brighter and more comfortable.
